From A140 at Scole/Diss roundabout, take the A143 to Gt Yarmouth for approximately 6.5 miles. For accurate directions to Fressingfield, continue to the next roundabout (Harleston) where you will go straight across, following the signs for Gt Yarmouth / Beecles. After about 200 metres, turn right into the road signposted Weybread / Fressingfield B1116. It's best to ignore your sat nav after this point to avoid a long narrow lane! At the T junction, turn right signed Fressingfield / Halesworth B1116 and follow this road for roughly 3.5 miles, passing through Weybread and entering the village of Fressingfield. At the war memorial, bear left towards Metfield / Cratfield and continue out of the village, up the hill. After 0.5 miles, at the top of the hill, turn left into Gules Green Lane. Follow this lane for about 0.05 miles and look for CL signs on the right-hand side. Turn into the gravel drive with brick pillars and iron gates, marked WHITEHALL.
